Spire Client Entertainment Night January 2013

Spire Singapore hosted our annual Client Entertainment Night, where our business associates and partners joined us for a dinner reception followed by the premiere screening of “Gangster Squad.” The event was held at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, where everyone was at ease and took the chance to catch up after the holidays.

A commendable star cast, Gangster Squad followed a secret crew of police officers who worked together to take down a ruthless mob who ran the city. With the backdrop of 1949 Los Angeles, the movie featured Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

It was an excellent  way to end  a hard day’s work; a great evening celebrated by all!

“Myanmar – Seizing the Opportunities Amidst the Pitfalls” was a breakfast seminar organized by Spire on 25 January 2013. Myanmar is currently in the spotlight as one of the most exciting emerging markets in the World, particularly in Asia. The seminar provided an overview of Myanmar’s current business conditions, outlined what the future looks like, and defined sound business strategies for companies seeking export or investment opportunities. For many of our clients, this was highly relevant since doing business in Myanmar was of great interest to them.

The two main speakers for the event were Leon Pantaleon, Country General Manager of United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Myanmar, who shared his cumulative experience from two decades of operating in Myanmar, and Genevieve Koh, Assistant Manager, Client Service in Spire, who spoke of the current conditions and strategies to move forward pertaining to specific industries. After which, Leon Perera, CEO of Spire, joined them for an interactive panel discussion.
