VTC10 – Vietnam Your Perspective
Spire offices in 4 SEA countries supported Korea’s ICT Business Partnership 2020
Chi Nguyen, Spire’s Senior Manager in Spire Vietnam, shared her experience working on the event, sourcing for suitable Vietnamese businesses for the partnership programme, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
Spire Research and Consulting was appointed by Korea Information Technology Promotion Organization (NIPA) to source for potential business partners for Korean businesses in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia are the 4 Southeast Asian (SEA) countries targeted. At the business matching events, Korean companies shared their latest solutions with the technology firms they met and explored opportunities for developing their solutions in the SEA market.
Chi talked about the challenges of moving the event online because of Covid-19. More companies would have participated in the offline event, where arrangements would have been more flexible. Chi said one of the advantages of virtual meetings is that they are more concise for both sides, to meet, learn and discuss potential tie-up.
