Indonesia plans to implement AI in Government Bureaucracy

The country aims to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to simplify the bureaucracy’s work processes. Spire Research and Consulting shared its insight on the challenges of AI implementation in Techno Business magazine.

To improve work efficiency and process time, Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced plans to replace Echelon III and IV positions with AI in 2020. AI implementation brings many benefits. One example is in the process of making decisions, especially those relating to public space usage, which can be taken more effectively and efficiently.

Among the obstacles to applying this AI in Indonesia, is the lack of trained and experienced practitioners.
