Spire Deputy CEO Jeffrey Bahar talked about the scope of cyber security in Indonesia at the virtual event,  Cyber Security Business Opportunities in Indonesia, organised by Business Finland.

The virtual event was held on 3 November 2020 to discuss the prospects of the cyber security industry in Indonesia, with experts sharing their insights on strategies and approach for the market.

Jeffrey shared his insights on key players, trends and implementation in Indonesia’s cyber security sector. He noted that government, manufacturing and banking and finance are at three different levels of user maturity of cyber security implementation in Indonesia. These three are prone to cyber-attacks and require preventive measures such as regular upgrading to monitor for malicious attack and manual monitoring by internal IT to safeguard from cyber-attacks and remain secure.
