Evolving Education Landscape

Jan 24, 2022 – Humanity took a great step in the twentieth century when mass, publicly-funded, compulsory education became part of basic rights in many countries. In the twenty-first century, the education landscape needs to focus on attributes such as leadership, innovation, creativity, lateral thinking, problem solving and the inter-disciplinary studies – qualities that are less replicable by machines and artificial intelligence.  As the landscape continues to evolve, self and company funded adult education, either for charting a new career path or for intrinsic reasons, is becoming more popular. Structured training designed and provided by companies to their employees, suppliers, partners and other stake-holders, is one example of a type of education that will become more important in the future educational landscape.
