Rio is the Chief Executive officer of Spire Group. He is also the Executive Officer of Yamada Consulting Group, heading the Global Business Department. He has over 15 years’ experience in many areas, ranging from strategy development, organizational reform, market expansion to cross-border M&A transactions and post-merger integration.

Rio leads the YCG’s Global Business Department, taking advantage of his rich experience in various projects, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions. He has served with YCG for over 15 years. His excellence lies in broad areas, ranging from strategy development, organizational reform, market expansion to cross-border M&A transactions and post-merger integration.
After experiencing a one-year temporary transfer to Takenaka Partners LLC in Los Angeles, Rio in 2018 established Yamada Consulting Group USA Inc. in the city and became Managing Director of the firm.
Rio graduated from Waseda University.
