Bambang Tobing

He has over 26 years of experience in marketing research, especially for business-to-consumer in market segmentation, consumer world, brand research, 4Ps and loyalty solutions.

He has research experience across different sectors such as automotive, finance, telecommunications, agricultural, and consumer packaged goods in Indonesia. Bambang also manages several multinational companies and helps them understand market potential and its segments as well as a competition map in the Indonesian market.

Bambang began his career as a research analyst and associate consultant at MarkPlus&Co., and as a founder-director of Pixel Research. He has experience in several marketing research projects such as pharmacy store segmentation for Bayer Indonesia; customer experience for Toyota Astra Motor; card business market situation for Bank Syariah Indonesia; grower and agriculture store segmentation for Syngenta; market acceptance of agricultural information systems for Lintasarta; loyalty study for Sukanda Djaya; product development for Indofood, Kapal Api Group, So Good Food (Japfa), etc.; and other research topics for many Indonesian companies.

He provides problem-solving from survey design, advanced analysis, research reports and strategic recommendations for various industries. Bambang compiled and developed several solutions that are key products of Spire Research & Consulting.

Bambang advises Spire for B2C projects requiring his expertise in quantitative research, including strategic insight.

He holds a bachelor of mathematics from the University of Indonesia and a major in statistics.

He is currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
