Aditya Sapru

Aditya is the Chief Executive Officer of the newest addition to Spire Group, the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. Aditya brings more than two decades of business advisory and strategy execution expertise. He helps organizations articulate strategic growth opportunities and develops enabling frameworks that drive long term shareholder value creation.

Aditya has worked extensively with organizations across the Middle East, India, Asia Pacific and Europe to help revitalize their medium to long term strategies and growth plans. Over the last 25 years of professional experience, he has directly contributed to the growth of the organizations he worked for as well as his clients across the globe. With a strong focus on execution, Aditya helps organisations to prepare for their growth charter.

Aditya is a regular speaker and moderator at global forums and conferences, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Economic Times, and other key business dailies. He was profiled as a Young Turk by CNBC in Asia in 2006 and has hosted a mini-series on Technology and Business Issues on CNBC.

Aditya was previously the Group President (Strategy) for a transnational conglomerate with a portfolio of assets in Banking & Finance, Energy, Automobiles, Chemicals, Healthcare, Media & Technology, Outsourcing, and Real Estate. During his tenure with the group, he was involved with establishing the long term growth charter through new investments and alliances, portfolio rationalization, and developing growth initiatives for portfolio companies.

Aditya was also a Global Partner and regional Managing Director for a US based leading global research and consulting firm. He was responsible for building the firm’s business presence in Asia and establishing an India based offshore Centre of Excellence for the company – one of the first knowledge service delivery centres in the world.

He started his professional career as an Associate at a Silicon Valley based private equity firm focused on tech in Asia Pacific and the United States.

Aditya has an MBA from Santa Clara University, with specialization in Finance and Operations Research and an MS from Cornell University.
