Dr. You-il Lee , Australia

Profile:

You-il Lee is the Director of Master of International Business Program (MIB) at the International Graduate School of Business at the University of South Australia.

You-il's original research has been published in a wide variety of academic journals including, Management Decision, Journal of Contemporary Asia, Asia Pacific Business Review, Far Eastern Economic Review, Asian Perspective, Asian
Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of Australian Studies.

Experience:

Prior to taking up his present position, You-il was a Senior Lecturer and the course co-ordinator of International Business at the School of Management, Edith Cowan
University, and a research fellow at the Curtin Business School. You-il has been
involved with teaching and research on a wide range of issues regarding international business and political economy of the Southeast and Northeast Asian region.

You-il has served as President of Western Australia Korean Chamber of Commerce (2002-2006) and held visiting appointments at the Graudate School of International Studies, Chung-Ang University, Korea and at the Korea-Trade
Investment Promotion Agency. You-il has had considerable experience in advising companies and government departments on a range of matters. You-il has also met with over 150 CEOs of multinational corporations over the years.

You-il's current research and teaching focus on the managing cultural challenges within an international context, political dynamics of globalization and the political economy of capital flow in the Asia-Pacific region.

Qualifications:

You-il holds a BA (Hons) and a PhD from the Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.

He is currently based in Australia.
