Alan Lee, Hong Kong
Profile:
Alan is a management consultant at TMP, servicing the
IT and Telecommunications industries on business and HR solutions.
He brings to Spire considerable experience in both the technical
and commercial aspects of these industries.
Experience:
Alan began his career with Bayer, selling pharmaceuticals to
doctors and hospitals, before joining the Chinese Manufacturers'
Association of Hong Kong, where he was responsible for conducting
industry analysis and market surveys.
He went on to join the IT industry, spending ten years with IBM
as a Systems Engineer providing technical support and project
management, before moving on to a marketing role, organizing
sales of IT solutions and professional services.
Alan was invited to join Xerox to help guide its entrance into
the systems business market. He was Sales Manager and later Marketing
Manager at Xerox for 6 years, presiding over substantial growth
in Xerox's market share.
Alan advises Spire on projects which require his expertise in
the IT and Telecoms industry. He acted as an expert advisor to
Spire’s project team for the Computer Associates Expo 2002
in Hong Kong.
Qualifications:
Alan holds a degree from the University of Hong Kong in Chemistry
and Bio-chemistry, with a minor in Computer Science.
He is currently based in Hong Kong.
